Biography:James Sirius was the first born to the Potter family. Growing up he had never been shown so much love. He had become extremely attached to his little sister and was always there for her. He had a love/hate relationship with his brother Albus and played jokes on him all the time. He had an odd relationship with his parents. His father intimidated him sometimes just because of how famous he was. James felt like he had to live up to something. His mother babied him any chance she got, which would really embarrass him.
Getting his letter for Hogwarts was the best moment of his life. He knew of magic and watched his parents perform it daily. He was excited to finally be able to do it himself. In school all of his free time was mostly devoted to reading and studying. James wanted to learn everything about magic: the history, unknown spells, and legends. Soon after, his siblings attended Hogwarts, and he felt extremely protective of them. In all of his studying he also learned of the darkest magic and wanted to shelter them from that.
It was strange being at Hogwarts only known as Harry Potter's eldest son. James didn't like the attention at all. In a way he was jealous. The only reason other students tried to befriend him is because oh his heritage. That was why he spent his time alone. After a while he became accustomed to spending time with just himself, though it was nice when Lily would spend time with him as well. He missed the closeness of his family from when he was younger. As he got older, he felt more and more vulnerable. It made him nervous because if he felt that he couldn't protect himself, how could he protect his family?

James sat in the comfy recliner chair in the den and read a book about the history of Hogwarts. He was trying to see if there were any hints to more passageways other than the ones shown in the Marauder's Map he nicked from his dad. His head snapped up to look over at his dad and gave a guilty smile. James hoped that his dad didn't know of his missing map.
Smiling to himself, he thought back to the first time he used the map to explore around the school. He spent the entire night searching all over the castle without being caught. It was then that he found the Room of Requirement and a bathroom on the second floor that he hoped to never visit again. There was a sad ghost of a girl looming about in the toilets. Once she found out who James was, she wouldn't leave him alone. Apparently she had a crush on his dad when he was in Hogwarts. Yuck.
A laugh escaped him which startled his father from his reading. "I'm sorry dad," James said. He figured he might as well share what he was thinking about. "I was just remembering this time... I met a ghost in a bathroom on the second floor." He stiffled another laugh. "She said she knew you quite well." James couldn't take it anymore and started laughing loudly. Just the thought of a ghost having a crush on a human was amusing, let alone it was his dad.
