For hundreds of years, muggles from all over the world have visited The Witch
House in Salem, Massachusetts unaware of the magic behind this historic
landmark's doors. In the dreadful year of 1692, dozens of helpless inocent
muggles were arrested and hung without trial just outside of Salem Village for
being accused of witchcraft. Though the accusations were later proven false when
the three accusers came clean saying these accuastions were just all for fun and
games. These were the same fun and games that sent the real witches and
wizards of Salem into hiding.
The originally houses of Salem from 1692 are the only link from the muggle world
to the magically world. But to the witches and wizard's dismay, muggles began
tearing down the houses one by one not leaving anyway to or from. But lucky
enough one house was saved. The Witch House of Salem is the formal house of
Judge Jonathan Corwin. Corwin was called upon to investigate the claims of
diabolical activity when a surge of witchcraft accusations arose in Salem and
neighboring communities. He served on the Court of Oyer and Terminer, which
ultimately sent nineteen to the gallows. All nineteen refused to admit to witchcraft
and maintained their innocence.
When muggles enter the house, they only see a plain old house. But when a witch
or wizard enters the house they enter a whole new world. A world where the
witches and wizards in training come to play. This world is the Salem Witches
Institute and SWI is looking for you! So come and play, you won't regret it.
LET THE MAGIC BEGIN...
