Biography:
Frank Quinn Longbottom was born into the most loving family a child could ask for. Even though he had to share the spotlight with his sister, Frankie was treated just as well by his parents Neville and Hannah. They lived at the Leaky Cauldron, his mother being the landlady. Frankie loved the extra food always being passed around and all the new faces he would meet. Hearing stories from travelers always excited him. He would hear stories from far away lands, which gave him extraordinary dreams. His imagination was very active, and always imagined himself going through heroic battles.
Upon reaching the age of 11 he finally received his Hogwarts letter. He planned and planned for days, and went over his supply list numerous times. He could barely wait to get into that school. He had heard so many stories from his sister, that he was ready for some of his own. When he arrived, the students acted a bit strangely around him and said weird things that didn't make sense. While in the library he fell upon some books that told the story of the defeat of the dark wizard Voldemort. Frankie learned that his very own father was present in this war, and was actually one of the main characters of the tail. He found all sorts of information about his dad and what a hero he was. Frank wondered why his dad never told him about it. Frankie didn't stay upset for too long. He was just so proud to have a father that was a hero and fought alongside Harry Potter.
His head was held high in the hallways, but not in a conceited way. He was proud, and humble at the same time. Frankie had loads of friends and was eager to tell stories about his dad. He did get into some trouble eventually. His big circle of friends caused him to turn into a bit of a gossip. He always needed to hear what people thought of him, and so forth.
Schoolwork came pretty easy to him, though as he got older it did get more challenging. He loved school, more for the fact that he got to be around so many people. Learning was fun to him too. Charms was his best subject, but his favorite was learning history. Not only of magical folk, but of anything.

It was the winter holiday, and Frankie was glad to be home. He missed his dad and mum, not to mention the many questions he had. The family sat in the den enjoying their spiced tea and the warmth of the fire place. Frankie was in his usual spot, the big plush red chair near the window. He stared out curiously at the quiet snow flakes, pondering how to talk to his dad.
"Hey, dad?" Frankie asked curiously, looking over to his father. Neville was on the sofa, leaning over a mess of papers on the coffee table.
"Hmm?" Neville mumbled with a quill in his mouth.
"I just... wanted to know why you never told me about... Voldemort." Frankie asked carefully. Neville looked surprised. "I know I'm only 11, but I want to hear your stories, not matter how scary. I... I read things in the library. The things you went through and the things you did... wow dad!"
Frankie was impressed. He would have never thought his own father would have been such a hero. There wasn't any time for him to be disappointed about just finding out about the news. Frankie had too many questions to ask. His dad was so quiet and reserved, Frankie wondered where that brave Gryffindor went. He didn't doubt his father lost his bravery, or any other of his lion traits. Frankie just wished he could see more... know more. Frankie wanted to be just like him. Someone important.
