Biography:Lucas was born ahead of his sister by ten minutes to a mixed blood household. He grew up in a mostly muggle environment, but his mother kept them well aware of her heritage. He gained his father's memory ability, though the things he keeps logged in his brain are very random. Everything from Quidditch stats to History of Magic (though he despised the subject) From his mother, he gained her diagnostic capabilities and her pension for healing. Though he is a great deal better with animals then humans on many levels.
Because he was the "oldest" and his parents were often busy with work related tasks, he was often put "in charge". Whether this is actually the case or simply something that formed out of dividing the sibling roles, he can't really remember, but they play their parts well. He plays the older over-protective jock brother and she does her part by being the flighty, flirty, younger sister. Alice was always good at relating to people on a personal level. Quick to smile and quick to befriend, her naivity can get her in trouble, and when they were younger Lucas tried to keep her grounded as best he could. His problem solving skills kept him pretty sane with her as a sister.
While his sister is seen as a ditzy blonde, he is often relegated to be the more logical sibling. He is more quiet and thoughtful on his actions. Alice is smarter then she looks, and Lucas is not as smart as he seems. In the classroom this is the most obvious, and having a teacher for a father doesn't help matters. Despite the appearance of not paying attention to a lesson, because of his good memory he is able to function in class if called upon. He irks teachers by not bothering with homework, but pulling out amazing test scores. Lucas is a natural athlete, it gives him something to keep focused on when in between projects.
While close throughout childhood, the twins began to seperate about the time they got their Hogwarts letters. She was becoming increasingly more interested in spending time with friends and noticing boys (innocent crushes) and he was devoloping his own interests. This was compounded more when they ended up in seperate houses and now they don't interact very much at all while at school. He still looks out for her, of course, but he has other things to keep him occupied and not always jock related. In particular: Girls.
Though pretty faces are something fun to look at, he is a guy after all, Lucas can be particular. He takes a while getting to know someone, as he doesn't like fake people or arrogant know-it-alls. This stems from his insecurity about not being as smart as he seems as well as knowing a great deal about a good number of things already. When Luc falls though, he pretty much falls really hard. Guys he doesn't trust he just does not like around his girlfriends. Sometimes he can be seen as possesive, though he tries to work on this.

If someone were going to set a record for the number of times fallen while going up the stairs, Lucas Norwood was sure his twin sister Alice was going to win it. Sporting a newly bruised elbow, Alice tried and failed to keep her trolley in control (much to the aggravation of her caged cat Artemis) while they paced their way through King's Cross Station. Upon his own trolley Artemis's brother Apollo purred asleep in his own cage.
As they passed through the barrier he could make out the stifled sniffles of emotional mother's seeing their children off. All at once he was very pleased he and Alice were seeing themselves off. Their parents, busy professionals had said their goodbyes earlier that morning. The muggle school his father taught History was already in session and his mother, a healer, spent a good deal of time at St. Mungo's.
With bouncing sandy blonde curls that fell not much longer than her chin, Alice careened into him for a hug. She hugged him as if they would be separated for a long time, as if only one of them would be going off to Hogwarts. She held him as if they would not be seeing each other in their shared NEWT classes. Perhaps there was some truth behind it. After they boarded the train, she would be with her Hufflepuff friends, and he would be with his fellow Ravenclaws. While at the end of the day, they were indeed twins, their social circles did not often intertwine. He held her as long as he felt necessary, enjoying her presence like he used to when they were young children.
When she slipped out of his arms, she fell soundly into her school persona. An enthusiastic smile graced her lips as she spotted a trio of girls he knew to be her dorm mates and with barely a wave to him, the crowd swallowed her.
He sighed with a shake of his head as he made his way on to the train. As they'd made it early enough and he found an empty compartment without much trouble. Soon enough it would be filled with his loud Quidditch team mates, but for now the quiet offered a surprisingly pleasant retreat.
