Ba-bump. Ba-bump. Ba-bump.
And then, just as simply as that, the sound came to a crashing halt, no longer audible. There was no soft beating, no distraction. There was a single moment where it seemed as if the noise would return -- a moment of hesitation, perhaps -- but it never came, the last sound not followed by another, the pattern broken. Silence fell over the small room, the sound of someone’s quiet breathing the only thing to be heard.
It had only been inevitable, after all.

Silent Heart is a literate to advanced Twilight forum. We have many plots (there is no site-wide plot, nor are there character claims), and a very small, simple application process. The sky is the limit when it comes to SH, and we don't put boundaries on creativity -- in fact, we encourage it.
