BURY THIS ALIVE
A wizarding war in America erupted six years and England, wishing to help the losing Aurors, sent their own Aurors to help. Hundreds of Aurors were sent overseas and a high demand of Aurors hit England as the threat of draft loomed over the heads of every witch and wizard. Unfortunately, two years into the American war, a draft was forced to be instated and hundreds of young wizards and witches were forced to join the ranks of the fighting Aurors. Current Head Auror Harry Potter constantly argued with Minister John Callivan, but his appeal landed on deaf ears. Soon after, the 'Chosen One' quit, believing the draft was the wrong move and new Head Auror Ryan Robust took his place. Many pureblood's childrens found themselves away from their pampered homes to the battlefront while others were use to this chaos. The battlefront brought news of death while the battle at home continued to rage. The Minister declared throughout the war that they were winning, but soon an anti-war group formed. They wanted their children back, but more importantly, they wanted change.
Soon unrest stirred among the citizens and blood began to spill among the streets of London. It was now three years into the war, and the re-election of a new Minister was beginning. Of course. Minister Callivan ran once more, but his opponent, an anti-war pureblood, Michael Taylor, revealed himself. Shortly before the votings, Minister Callivan was found dead in his house with no traces of force. Obviously, magic was used, but at the time of such high opposition against him, no one chose to figure it out. With ease, Taylor slipped intot he office of Minister of Magic and promised quick peace. Unfortunately he had other agendas on his mind as the fighting Aurors stayed in America. His weak promises of their close return after a year soon caused more unsettlement among wizards and witches. Harry Potter attempted to warn the Minister and recommended ending the draft, which was still instated, to allow for some peace. Instead, Minister Taylor drafted more into the Auror ranks causing more unrest.
Six months later, the Minister of Magic was found dead in his very own office. Three and half years into the war and no signs of success or ending. With two Ministers dying in a row in mysterious murders, many began to edge away from the job itself. For the next two years, no one was put into office and sadly, the war continued with no signs of stopping. Deaths were reported and families were destroyed. A new group, much different from the anti-war effort that rose ealier, rose to power. Many of those that were part of the anti-war effort joined, but this group rested on the power of pureblood mania once again. They bleieved that allowing the ruling of such half-bloods like Taylor and the mudblood Callivan had destroyed the wizarding world. They solely believed that the power should rest in their hands, the hands of those pureblooded. A rising young star in the group, Lennox James, soon began campaigning for himself as the new Minister of Magic. Many purebloods welcomed his idea, and even halfbloods, blind to his true intentions, began to cheer for him as well. Like Taylor, he promised peace and the return of their families back to their homeland. But Harry Potter saw through him. Harry Potter warned the public, but his warnings fell once again on deaf ears.
With such speed, Minister James entered his office to put his pureblood plans into effect. But James didn't bring the troops back right away. First, he had to deal with one particular person. Six weeks after his election, Harry Potter and his wife, Ginny, were found murdered in their home. Blood spattered the wall, and it was the most brutal crime scene in the wizarding world. Two days later, Minister James announced the troops' return. The recent death of Harry Potter hits hard for these returning Aurors, especially those that were family. But Minister James continues to push through with his plans as he eliminates the Head of Department offices, assuming control over every branch in the name of safety. With the Aurors at his beckoning hand, he quickly begins to use it to his advantage. Soon, mudbloods and beasts are being rounded up, but where they go, no one seems to know. Minister James proclaims that this is the necessary precautions for the safety and future peace of the wizarding world. But his lies are seen by those that sided with Harry Potter. And now, a new Order is rising in the attempt to quail what seems to be an erupting war in Europe. Chaos and disorder are forming. Eventually, one more little white lie could bring it all tumbling down. We all must Bury This Alive.
