Biography:
Tristan was born as Tristan Harper on 17th September one year after the second wizarding war, to Malena and Axel Harper, two pureblood wizards from a dark family background. The family was known for black magic and their strong support for Lord Voldemort. It was no surprise then when Malena and Axel both followed in their own parents footsteps at the return of You-Know-Who and joined as followers of the new era of the dark arts. That, however, was short lived because of a certain young wizard, Harry Potter. Tristan’s parents returned to their regular lives, pleading not guilty of their actions, assuring they’d been under the influence of dark magic and blackmail. For that time they did get away with it.
Young and wanting to have a family, to carry on the legacy, Malena fell pregnant and only a year after the second wizarding war gave birth to their son. The happy family was then soon to be interrupted. The war had caused many tragedies and many were hurt, one woman in particular was so scorned by the events that she would not live with the Harper’s being happy. While Tristan was fatefully at a babysitters, his parents were both killed that horrific evening. Too young Tristan remembers nothing of his family.
Moved to foster carers the young boy was adopted by a loving couple, Carolina and James Hunter. In truth, no child could have found a better home. For years Tristan was raised as a regular boy in his muggle family, ignorant to all the magic that surrounded him and would one day corrupt him. But for now, the boy was happy and content with his perfect little life.
Hogwarts may be the making of people, of discovering magic and of who you are...well, that definitely opened Tristan’s eyes when he received his acceptance on his 11th birthday but school wasn't necessarily change him into who he would become. not completely. His parents were both thrilled, sceptical and worried as most parents would be, but nonetheless pleased for their son having known he was always something special. Before he left for school his adoptive parents told him of his birth, of his biological parents, how he was adopted. Like any child it devastated him and his anger took over for some time but eventually he accepted that these people raised him and had told him the truth, after all he’d have discovered it himself at Hogwarts soon enough. However, though he knew those who raised him were his family he longed to know more of his parents, his real parents, his witch mother and wizard father. And he did. Teachers knew of his parents and more particularly some of his classmates did and many were wary of him for that heritage. Tristan believed the rumours, the stories that were told, that his parents were good people and deceived by the dark arts yet he had an increasing interest in them himself. It worried him though he never did share those worries out loud.
The Ravenclaw student was meticulous and focused in his studies at Hogwarts, excelling in classes and proving a name for himself. He’d make his parents proud, both sets of them, the living and the dead. His time at Hogwarts continued and he befriended many students, among other things with his charm and good looks, however, regardless of his confidence there was always a naivety about him. In his final year at Hogwarts he met a girl who would change his life, first year Penelope Matthews. After helping the newcomer out he befriended Penelope, liking her more and more as he got to know the girl. There was an age gap sure but she wasn’t like other girls her age, she was different and he liked spending time near her. But Tristan moved on from school leaving the young girl with the belief they'd meet again.
And they would.
Graduating he moved into his own apartment and gained a job at the ministry working as a curse breaker, seemed all that studying paid off in the end yet he still wasn’t fully satisfied with his life, but then truthfully how many people were? An incident in the office lead to Tristan ending up in St. Mungos along with another wizard who'd been caught in the eye line of a curse from an inexperienced worker. All wasn't too destructive when he was treated by a Dr. Matthews, father of a certain Hogwarts student. Having never had known his magical parents, Tristan enjoyed the conversation with the man and when he was recovered and left the hospital they kept in touch. Maybe someone noticed then how naive and corruptable Tristan could be. Or maybe it was just the goodness in the man. Regardless, Tristan visited often to converse with Tommy Matthews to begin with, then using him as an excuse to view the spectacular envisionment of Penny Matthews who had most certainly blossomed from that first year student he remembered. He loved, or rather lusted over, her but she was not interrested in him, why would she be with the child of Harry Potter on her arm? Yet he never dropped hope that one day things would be different.
It wasn't long after when fate intervened. Twenty-one years old and a day in Diagonally Alley changed his perspective forever when he met Benjamin Banks. The man had a lot of information on his parents, opened his eyes to all around him and essentially corrupted the young, fresh and naively innocent former Hogwarts student. It is a wonder what the correct words, knowledge and offer of unimaginable power can do to one person, not to mention the guarantee of all you ever wanted to be yours.
Tristan agreed to join Benjamin in his quest for power and to reign as a new dark lord, the way it should have been done before but this time they were more experienced, intelligent and had much more to use and destroy, not to mention the trophy of a young Potter’s girlfriend whom, as part of the deal, was promised to Tristan would not be harmed unless absolutely necessary.
It seems heritage can have a part in who you believe you are and who you believe you have to become. There is no good and bad anymore, everything and everyone lives in grey areas and the world needs to see that. This new dark lord has the ability to show everyone what power really is and a corrupted Tristan Hunter is on board for that deceptive journey.

In an air of innocence and naivety, Tristan Hunter purposefully strolled through Diagon Alley. Dark eyes sparkled in the reflections of shop windows, all these years knowing he was a wizard yet the magic never did get old, never did become any less wonderful or any less endearing. Day off and former Ravenclaw was heading to the book shop, he had been put into his school house for a reason, it wasn’t a house that changed people as only people could change people. Tristan had no intentions of drastically changing, the only reason he would change so willingly would be for – well, it didn’t matter because it would never happen. Magic existed but miracles didn’t happen as often as they really should do. Anyways, the young man’s intentions today were to find some new books on the dark arts, not because he was evil, though he would never deny the temptations he felt over the darkness, but because he was a curse breaker at the ministry and that meant to break black magic you had to understand it. Knowledge was imperative.
Flourish and Blotts passed by in his eye line, never did he stop or go into the store...no, Tristan needed some reading that was darker than they supplied. His destination was not somewhere many would willingly stride into and Tristan’s actions may been seen as stubbornness or an unstoppable desire to learn or complete stupidity. The latter was probably in a high concentration along with the other two.
Some interested glances followed him, shot him warning looks, as his charcoaled eyes darted around the faces of the crowd, far more alert that he should be and clearly standing out because of it. Nonetheless he moved on towards Knockturn Alley and indulging into the narrow, gloomy and suddenly sepia’d area of the wizarding town. Remaining tall with his head held high he tried not to look anyone in the eye, tried not to cause a scene or stand out too much though with his attire and deceptively proud stance he had likely failed at that already.
Human instinct told him he was being followed...or was he being paranoid? This place done strange things to your mind. Heading down an even narrower alleyway he neither showed hesitation or turned around. The sound of footsteps behind him told him as much as he needed to know. Fingertips skimmed the top of his wand, waiting....
“What do you want?” a low demand escaped his lips. In a sudden and swift movement the young man had a side that he usually kept caged, throwing the man against the wall, wand pointed interrogatingly against the pulsing of the stranger’s exposed neck. Dark eyes pierced the man, though Tristan couldn’t hide complete uncertainty and a small exposure of fear as he stared at the man through the constant darkness around them. The man’s next response was far from expected by Tristan. The stranger simply laughed. “Tristan, Tristan...” he knew his name. How? Then those words, the ones that would change his whole life and being forever, were spoken, “I have a proposition for you Tristan Harper”
