To all members,
It has come to my attention that the plot and activity is dwindling, yet I know how much you all love this site. Many potential members quickly reject the site just because it is hosted by Proboards. So all of the awesome plot lines we could have, disappear. I, along with a new addition to the admin team, have tossed around the idea of moving to InvisionFree. I'd like you to know that if we do move to InvisionFree, you are guaranteed acceptance. You can decide whether or not to continue your storylines, or you can start fresh. Regardless, all the threads would be saved in the pensive. With the move, we would probably double in member size opening up more opportunity for sub-plotting. So please take the time to answer this poll.

I know there is a difference between proboards and invisionfree, but is there really that big of a gap of memberships? If so, why is that? Just different coding style, I guess?

From what I hear, its much easier coding for skinning and easier to understand. I've been looking into it and it seems relatively the same. Its more open with its coding both with html and UBBC. Besides, most of the RP world prefers InvisionFree, and I can see why. I suppose the membership gap is people being stubborn or just don't want to go back to Proboards because its so much harder.

I RP on both Proboards and Invisionfree, and I can tell you that both have their ups and downs. But Invisionfree is a lot easier to manage Admin wise when your creating the boards and what not. I personally started on Invisionfree, but I don't care which one I RP on. But I did find Invisionfree easier to Manage than Proboards as an Admin.

Just thought I'd stop by and put my two cents in. I am Diana, the new co-admin to this wonderful site, and I know some of you may have doubts about switching over. But I guarentee you, it can move much smoother tat way. I have been working with invisionfree for 7 years, and have had various very successful sites. I hoipe you take the time to give it a try. Not to mention, to those with older computers, or computers with low memory, proboards takes forever for page loads, and sometimes won't load all together.

Personally i've RP'd on both and never seen much of a difference. I prefer proboards to be honest. I like how you can click on a member's name and see the last posts they done instead of having to search across the whole board. I've never found out how to do that on invisionfree :S I think most people are happy to use both, i've never come across a bias before. If a site is good then that's all that matters I believe. Its all about advertising and keeping the board fresh and exciting
