My family is having some serious issues right now. Like, bad bad shit. My mom is leaving my step-dad, and we're running. The reason she's leaving him pretty much comes down to me. If I stay in my hometown there's a pretty good chance that he will come after me. If he finds her, he'll take my sister away, and with his history of violence, he'll probably hurt or kill my mom. So what it boils down to is this: Me, my mom, my sister, and my kids are relocating to a safehouse far away from here, and no one knows we're going. No one will know we're leaving until we're gone, which will probably be within the next week.
So, I'm terrified. We're slowly moving some things out of the house when he's not home and mom is trying to stash away some money, but we don't have a car. The whole plan is dangerous if he catches us. I'll still be here until we go, but then I'll just disappear. I'll be back when I can. Keep me and my family in your prayers, if you will. This is going to be a bad time for all of us.
So on the absence time, I don't know. I'm taking my computer, but I don't know when I'll have internet again. We're going to a large city, so I might be able to pick up someone else's access if I can get my router thing to work right.
