Lucy was sitting under a tree reading her book for Care of Magical Creatures. It was quite interesting, andLucy found herself absorbed in it. She had already read all of her other books, and had finished them. Her family always made fun of her for reading the entire text books before classes even started. Well with the exception of her parents, grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. But she didnt mind, she would often laugh along with them.
So here she was, reading her book on a nice sunny day. She sighed and placed the book down and stretched a bit. Today was so nice, and no one had bothered her at all today. All in all today was perfect, and she was happy. She stood up and shrugged off her robe, she had come out here as soon as classes had ended so she was still in her school robe, she untucked her shirt, and then plopped back down under the tree she had found. She picked her book and continued reading at where she had left off. She was on the chapter about dragons, and she could honestly say she now knew why her Uncle Charlie worked with them, they were very interesting creatures, not that she planned to follow in her Uncle's footsteps. She smiled and flipped the page continuing to read about the creatures.

Such a horrible ghastly day Emma thought sadly, kicking rocks on her way. Frist she over slept and missed Transfiguration Again, then there was the huge fight with Adele and Joshlin, and now the failing grade in Defense Against the Dark Arts. This is the closest thing to Limbo Emma thought angrily kicking a large stone across the way until it landed near some red head girl. Sqinting to a get a better view from her distance, she morphed her sight to finally realize it was a Weasley.
Not like it was had to reconize without the flaming red hair and the weird look on the face. Taking slow steps from the courtyard down to the grass, she couldn't help, but stare at the girl. Something always bothered her about "The Weasleys and Potters" not in a disturbing way, but Em always remembered the stories. They terrifed her as a child, but now a days the stories seemed to be coming back. No one fully sensed it yet, I think, but something in her told her that it was their fault.
Landing softly on the grass, she walked near the girl and stood square in front of her. "Your in my class, aren't you?" simple and to the point, plus the Monster book in her hands was a dead give away.

Lucy blinked when she felt something hit her softly. She looked up from her book and saw a girl. She looked to be her age, and judging by the robes she was a Slytherin. Lucy smiled softly at her."Hi." she said softly. The girl asked if she was in her class, and Lucy nodded softly to her."Yea, and potions. I was late to class today, I think I may have sat next to you. Im Lucy Weasley by the way." she said smiling at the girl.
She hoped the girl did not decide not to like her just because of her house. Lucy had always thought that the house rivalries were stupid. She would make friends with whoever she pleased and didnt care one bit what house they were in." I hope you dont hate me because Im a gryffindor. Im not into the whole House rivalry thing, but dont tell my sister or cousins that." she said giving the girl another smile and giggling."So what brings you outside? Well besides that its a lovely day, and summer is almost over." she said with a sigh. She loved summer and really wished it could last longer, but she loved school too, and school meant the end of summer. So Lucy always tried to enjoy the last bits of the summer months.
