Lucy walked briskly towards the Astronomy Tower. She was meeting Penny there to talk. They hadn't actually talked in a while, and Lucy missed her friend. And aside from just talking to her friend, she needed advice, and Penny gave some of the best advice. Lucy would of course talk to Lily about the subject later, but right now she needed to talk to Penny.
It was about an hour before dinner, and Penny and she had decided to meet before they went to the Great Hall. She entered the tower and set her school bag down, now she just had to wait for Penny. She started to think to herself, and began pacing a bit and mumbling things to herself. It was a normal sight if you truly knew Lucy, she had a habit of pacing and talking to herself about what was on her mind.
She sighed, finally giving up and decided the best thing to do would be to just discuss the matter with Penny. She plopped onto the floor next to her bag and pulled out her charms book. She might as well do something productive while waiting, so she started to read the chapter they were on in class, it was actually pretty interesting and lucy soon found herself absorbed in the book. tags:Penny!!!  word count:224 comments: |

Skipping happily down the steps from the dorms, Pen was in a great mood. She'd seen James that morning, then she found out she'd come top of her class in the latest Potions essay at Lunch, and now she was off to see Lucy. Yes, today was a good day... Strolling through the common room, she spotted her friend Jeoff Trillby and ran up behind him, before jumping onto his back, "Haaiiiii!!" She squeeled whilst giggling hysterically as the guy realised who it was attacking him, before spinning around as fast as he could, eventually collapsing back onto a couch, practically squashing Penny, who was holding on around his neck for dear life. "ARGH!" she giggled, shoving the boy off her before getting up and dizzily making her way towards the exit, followed by random, comical comments from Jeoff and the other Ravenclaws who didn't seem quite as happy about the interruption to their 'study time'...
Leaving Ravenclaw Tower, Penelope Matthews strolled casually down towards the Astronomy tower. She was meeting her best mate, Lucy Weasley there, for a much needed catch up and chat... Penny knew she'd been neglecting her friend recently, especially since she and James had got together...
Always one to be on time, Penny had set off from her tower with plenty of time to spare, wearing black skinny jeans, indigo blue t-shirt and her black converse. Reaching the steps up the tower, Penny jogged up, two at a time, until she eventually reached the top and strolled in to find Lucy sitting on the floor, seemingly engrossed in her Charms book.
"Hey!" Penny chimed, brightly as she stepped inside, immediately moving forward to greet her friend with a hug. Then joining Lucy on the floor, Penny sat wih her legs crossed, "So whats going on Luce??" She asked with some concern sounding in the voice...

Lucy squealed and hugged her friend after Penny had greeted her."Oh Merlin Pen, Ive missed you!" she said happily. Penny was one of her best mates, and one of the few people Lucy felt she could go to and just talk about how she felt and stuf like that. Penny had been the first person she told about wanting to be a potions mistress, and other things. Penny just knew Lucy, better than most people, well aside from the family anyway.
Lucy stood up when Penny asked her what was going on."Okay Pen, you know I've never had a boyfriend, or anything like that, I've always been way to engrossed with my grades. Well Pen, I met a guy. His name is Noah and he's a Hufflepuff, I dont know if you know him or not. But I-I really like him Penny." she said rambled on, blushing and sitting back down after her confession.
She had not realized that she had been pacing till after she sat down."Oh Penny I dont know what to do! I've never really liked a boy before. I mean school has always come first, and I dont know! I just dont know what to do here. Help?" she asked a pleading look on her face."I dont even think he likes me back, I just dont know. I dont know what to do!" she said placing her head into her hands. Things like this did not usually happen to Lucy, and she was at an absolute loss as to how to handel it.word count:281 tags: Penny!!!!  comments:

Penny watched as Lucy jumped up and started pacing back and forth infront of her. Typical stressing behaviour from the red head, and it made Penny laugh a little inwardly before Lucy blurted out the number of issues that had clearly been playing on her mind these last few days or weeks. Penny felt a little guilty at this realisation, Lucy had probably wanted to confide in her on previous occassions, but Penny had been too absorbed in her own love life to give her friend any attention... And this subject made Penny feel even more guilty over her neglect. Boys. Lucy had never really been interested in boys before, and Penny... Well lets just say she had had boyfriends and she knew Lucy would come to her for advice on the matter... A Hufflepuff named Noah.. She knew of him, they shared quite a few classes, since the Ravenclaws tended to be paired with the Hufflepuffs more often than not, while the Gryffs and the Slths were often paired up for classes. She was sure she would recognise his face over his name though... She quietly watched as Lucy sat back down beside her and asked for her helpon the matter. Her face was etched with desperation... "Alright, for starters, you need to caaaaalm dooown!" Penny laughed, mimicking deep breaths for Lucy to follow... "You know, everything you've said is like, so normal, its rediculous.." she laughed again, hoping that Lucy would smile along with her. "I think I know him... And I bet he likes you, I mean, who wouldn't like you Lucy?!" And she meant it, Lucy had such a warm and fun personality, Penny thought she would be hard pushed to find a guy at Hogwarts that wouldn't at least consider dating her... "But as for what I think you should do, you need to get to know him more, find out how he ticks you know? Maybe subtly hint that maybe you like him and see how he reacts." She smiled, thinking over all the times that she had thown in a purposely flirtatious or suggestive comment, just to see what James would do... "Of course if thats too much effort, we could just get him drunk and then you could seduce him!" She giggled trying top keep the conversation light hearted. Lucy nodded and giggled at her friend's behavior. "okay, right, calm down." she said and smiled at Penny and took a deep breath and then let it out.She smiled at Penny and hugged her."Aww thanks Pen!" she said smiling at Penny. She loved her friend to pieces she was so supportive, and just great Lucy had no idea what she would do without Penny."Do you-do you really think he likes me?" Lucy asked smiling softly at Penny. She really liked Noah, he was not like the other boys she knew.
She nodded at what Penny said. It made sense, she needed to find out what Noah liked and all that stuff."Well, I'm meeting him at the Room of Requirement again in a few days, so I can talk to him then and stuff." she said smiling at Penny. She thanked God she had Penny to go to for stuff like this. She would be completely lost if it was not for her friend. Her jaw however dropped at Penny's next comment"Penelope Matthews! We are not getting him drunk! And I am most certainly not seducing him!" she said vvery seriously, and then burst into giggles. She leaned against Penny's shoulder and smiled st her friend."Thanks Penny, for being such a amazing friend. I don't know what I would do without you!" she said happily.

Penny giggles some as she hugged her friend back, she had indeed missed just talking with Lucy, she made a mental note to really make more of an effort to meet up with her, especially if Lucy was getting it together with Noah, they would both have distractions, but they couldn't let their respective boys detract from their friendship...
"Do you-do you really think he likes me?"
Penny grinned, "Listen, Luce, if he doesn't, then he's a dope.."
Lucy then told her that she was to meet him in the room of requirment to 'talk', Penny thought back to her own room of requirement occassion with James, she smirked but decided not to divulge, Lucy was a bit touchy on the subject of her cousin and... romance... So she simply said, "Oooh the room of requirement, nice and... private" she bounced her eyebrows and giggled. She then giggled some more at Lucys next comment about NOT getting the young man drunk and Lucy definately NOT seducing him when he was..
"Thanks Penny, for being such a amazing friend. I don't know what I would do without you!"
Penny couldn't help but feel a little guilty when Lucy called her an 'amazing friend', Penny didn't really feel like one, but she did her best... She smiled, "Your amazinger!" she leaned against Lucy as she did the same,.. Suddenly a thought just popped into her head, snapping her head around to look at her best mate she beamed excitedly, "Oh my gods! you know what we have got to do!?!?" she almost squeeled through pure excitement, "Double date!!!!" she grinned clapping her hands together like a five year old.
"Once you two are a couple obviously, which so will happen if hes meeting you in the room of requirment! Oh my gods im so excited!!!" She squeeled again.
