Leonard Deforest had a serious case of Mysophobia. He cast to perfect cleaning charms on each hand and two more on the table before casting one on his seat. He sat down to do his homework. Some may think this is.. kinda obsessive and scary.. but when you learn how many muggle diseases and wizard diseases there are just laying there or floating around, you'd be like this also. Hes a Healer in training, you HAVE to be clean to work, Hes only been sick once and after that Hes been doing everything to make sure that he's amune to EVERYTHING. Bones scowled at some people sending him weird looks, they will have to deal he's got needles in his backpack filled potions that do some NASTY things and hes not afraid to use them. In about 2 hours he had to go to the Wing to get today's training. He pulled out a water bottle, his own and sipped it gently before placing it in his bag. He rubbed his fingers together as he did his homework, t was History of Magic, a rather.. easy subject, though not as easy for him as Muggle studies, really, going up as a muggle that class is NOTHING.

Luc Norwood had been reading, or attempting to read. Pretending? Whatever he had been doing previously with the open book in his hands had been completely forgotten by now. For the past few minutes he'd watched Leonard Deforest cast at least five cleaning charms before finally sitting down to do his own homework. Luc didn't know Leo that well as the younger boy was in his fifth year, but he did know this wasn't unusual behavior for him.
Luc's mother was a Healer and he was vaguely familiar with the profession's issues with cleanliness, but Leo seemed to take it to an entirely different level. It ws almost as if he were scared to be contaminated in someway. Luc had a pension for healing himself, a trait he had inherited from his mother. However, he had always been much better working with animals then people on several levels. It was a messier line of work, caring for magical creatures, but it was one he enjoyed, though he hadn't actually made his decision of his career path yet. Thankfully he was only in sixth year. The looming thought of being thrust into the adult world at seventeen years old could sometimes be overwhelming.
He'd grown up in a mostly muggle environment, playing a good deal more football then quidditch, though his mother kept him well informed on her magical heritage. Being half-blood had it's advantages, but then trying to have a foot planted firmly in both worlds could be a task.
Leo moved again pulling Luc's attention back to reality as he watched the boy carefully take a sip from a water bottle before placing it in his bag. Luc shook his head and quietly chuckled at his house mate. Judging from the book, Leo was working on History of Magic, a class Luc despised but had been decent at through the years he had to take it. Memorizing dates, facts and figures had definitely kept him afloat in the myriad of boring, though mandatory classes.
