Tormund sat on the edge of the lake, his black school pants legs rolled up and his tie hung loosely from around his neck. At his side lay his: schoolbag, cloak, socks, and black dress shoes. The summer holidays had come and gone with the usual events, well all except for two. His date with Lily and his successful request of a date with her. He just sat there thinking of her and how much he had improved his Quidditch skills even though he wasn’t up in the air most of the summer.
He ran his hand through his curly dark brown hair. He looked an awful lot like his father, the only real difference was his curly hair which he got from his mother. Once his hand had run through his hair it dropped to the lakeshore, his fingers curling themselves around a rock. He picked it up and with a flick of his wrist he sent the small, flat rock skipping across the surface. It was one of his double free periods and he had already finished all his work.
It was hard to tell that it was early October as it felt more like summer just by the temperature. You couldn’t tell by the sky though. Thick black storm clouds threatened to downpour on the love sick sixteen year old but to be honest he didn’t care. He would wait here until the bell rang for lunch and then head straight to the Great Hall and wait for Lily. That was the one thing about dating someone in their OWL year, they had no free classes.
