- - - - - - - - - - Everything so far was going exactly as planned. Phases one through three were complete and he was currently working on phase four as we speak.
Phase One: Lunchtime with Harry. He had told Victoire that Harry had asked him for a briefing over lunch so no usual lunchtime date today. This is where he sat awkwardly in Harry's office for about ten minutes before he finally got up the courage to tell Harry his plan and how he was doing everything and showing him the thing that would bound him to a certain someone. It hadn't left his side since he bought it, afraid she would find it while putting away laundry or something. No no, that wouldn't do at all. After telling Harry everything and Harry agreeing to his part in the plan, Ted headed back to work, like this wouldn't be the day that changed his life at all or anything real important.
Phase Two: Harry's part in the plan. As Ted and Vic headed out of the office, Harry had caught up with them and asked for Vic's help, saying it wouldn't take long. Ted knew better, whatever mess Harry had made would take longer then a few minutes. Ted told her that he's head home and start dinner, and with a kiss goodbye he was off to finish his preparations.
Phase Three: Ginny. Ginny had met him at their flat to help he prepare everything. The entire flat was now sparkling clean, everything was in place as well. With a goodbye and good luck from Ginny, she left for home to go meet her husband. Why the wishes of good luck? Why the planning? Well you'd think it would be obvious, Theodore Lupin was finally asking his girlfriend Victoire Weasley, on their one month anniversary, to marry him. You're probably wondering why he'd be asking her after only dating her for a month. Well, there's a long story behind that.
Ted and Vic had known each other their whole lives, well all of Vic life since Ted was a year older. They began dating in Victoire's six year and broke up when Ted had gotten some pretty creepy letters, threating and killing his family members. In fear that she would be one of them, he had fled the country, hoping that the killer would go no where near her. It took him six years to return, but he was finally home, with no plans on leaving her again. Ted had planned this day since he had returned, knowing he wanted her and only her for the rest of his life. And everyone knew that, even them. Fleur, his soon-to-be-mother-in-law, hopefully, had already planned their wedding, but the date was subjected to when he proposed. Frightening? Yes. Pressured into this? Not really, he wanted this, and it wasn't Fleur doing.
The talk with Bill, Victoire's father, went surprisingly well. He had made Bill promise not to tell his wife anything until Vic told her, because the both of them knew how she got. Bill didn't think they were rushing into it, since he could feel the love pretty much radiating off them when they were together, and that he told Ted that there was no one better for his little girl then him, which made Ted feel ten times better about the situation. He was sure there would be some serious shouting when he told him, but he was happily surprised.
Ted checked his watch and was sure that Vic would be arriving soon. He began lighting the little tea candles that made a trail to the bedroom and stepped inside, closing the door behind him and getting into place. He patted his pocket and made sure the ring was there before taking a deep breathe. Here goes nothing. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: a lot. This heart, it beats, beats only for you My heart is yours - - - - - - - - Victoire was back to being...well, Victoire. Everyone that knew her would agree, after Ted Lupin left the country Vic wasn't the same without him walking on the same soil. She held up a brave face, the best she could. Everyone knew that behind that mask, she was a horrible mess. One would think after so many years the pain would cease and she would move on. Nope. Victoire didn't, she couldn't. Without Ted, she didn't have a life, her best friend. She known him her entire life. Vic could just throw that out the window.
This past month, Victoire returned to her old self. She always wore a smile, was always cheery, and happy spoke to anyone who asked her something. Victoire Weasley had been broken, and Ted Lupin fixed her. It had been the best month of her life, and that included the best day. That day, being the day Ted came back to her. The day their paths crossed finally. Ted had been home for a few days already, debating whether or not to see her. Victoire had sort of known he was back but, was trying to avoid him. The two star-crossed lovers met again, at the Leaky Cauldron. Ted was there for a drink and coincidently, Victoire stopped there on the way home from going out with a few of her friends. That night, had been the best night of her life. They confessed their undying love and need for each other, Ted apologized, they went to Ted's home, he apologized some more, they made sweet love to each other for the first time, Ted asked Vic to move in, she said yes, and has been there ever since.
Since then, they had been glued together. No one could seperate them. Even at work, at the Ministry, they found ways to be together. They worked on paperwork together, met for lunch, slipped into a few storage closets here or there. At their home, they even did everything together from cooking to sleeping. As she predicted, it didn't take long for the family to find out they were back together. Her mother sent a squeling howler and immediately dove into making wedding plans. With the help of her Aunt Ginny, Victoire was able to stop her mother from buying horrible dresses and tuxes, and flowers. She knew her mother wouldn't calm down until Ted and Victoire tied the knot. Vic didn't doubt it would happen. She knew, Ted knew, it was just a matter of doing. Victoire had kept herself quite on the subject. She knew, in his own time and way, Ted would propose.
Outsiders would say they were rushing into things. When you have a long history like Ted and Victoire - there was no such things. It was all going to happen eventually anyway. Doing it sooner wasn't hurting anything. Their family wasn't even surrpised, more like relieved. They received a lot of 'it's about time' and 'finally' and of course, plenty of squeals. In Victoire's mind, it was about time. She had waited too long for him. Now Ted was here, and she wasn't going to waste a second no being with him. Life wasn't worth living without Ted Lupin in it.
Today seemed like an ordinary day. Victoire woke up next to Ted. Something that brought a smile to her face. She made them breakfast, which they ate together. They went to work together. Normally, they'd have lunch together but, Harry asked to see Ted over lunch. So, as an alternative, Victoire visited some friends she made in other departments and had lunch with them. The rest of the day passed normally. As Ted and Victoire were leaving, together of course, her Uncle Harry stopped them. He dove into some story about how he needed help after something happened and he spilled ink or something on his new coat. As much as Victoire wanted to just go home, she felt obligated to help her poor Uncle. She agreed, and Ted went off home to start their supper.
As Victoire looked at her Uncle's office, she had to wonder, how did this happen? It looked like something exploded. There was this sticky stuff stuck everywhere. An empty box labeled WWW explained everything. Her Uncle George Weasley must have sent Harry some sort of practical joke - some new product. Harry sat around, pretending to be useless compared to Victoire's cleaning skills. It felt like forever. Whatever the sticky substance was, it was fighting all of her cleaning charms and spells. It took her just over thirty minutes to have her Uncle's office shining again. He thanked her, planting a small kiss on her cheek. Vic waved it off as nothing and hurried home. Eager to be with Ted again, not being able to stand being apart from him for too long.
Victoire had no idea what was waiting for her at home. She had been kept reletively clueless. Her own anticipation for Ted to propose had her looking for something out of the ordinary every day. Just last week she had a talk of sorts with herself, telling her self to just calm down. It doesn't matter when it happens, just as long as it happens. Contented with that resolution, she stopped looking for clues.
After getting home, Victoire opened the door, thinking it was odd she didn't smell any food cooking. She didn't hear any sizzling as she walked in either. Not too far from the front door of their flat, there was a scattered trail of tea light candles. This hadn't been the first time Victoire had seen her boyfriend do this. The second he wanted to get down and dirty, he used something similar to candles and rose petals. It was all quite romantic. Ted was just that kind of guy and Victoire loved that about him. Stripping off her coat, and slipping out of her shoes, Victoire stalked her way back to the bedroom. "What happened to dinner? I've never know you to pass up food before," she called out, opening the bedroom door.

I wish I could do better by you, Cause its what you deserve. You sacrifice so much of your life, In order for this to work.
While I'm off chasing my own dreams, Sailing around the world, Please know that I'm yours to keep, My beautiful girl. - - - - - - - - - - As Ted waited for his girlfriend to return from work, a few things began to go through his head. One being that how much his life had changed in a course of a month. Before returning home, he had felt he was always on the run, had to be careful what he did. He'd see all these couples touring Europe together and the pain would sometimes be too much for him. He couldn't move on, he knew he loved Victoire with every fiber of his being, and he wasn't ready to let her go if he didn't know she was gone on herself. Even then he didn't think he could move on. No one compared to Victoire Weasley, his best friend, his goddess of beauty and most importantly, the love of his life.
His world turned when he returned home, saw Victoire at the Leaky Cauldron. That night would be one they would be telling their grandkids. How they had crossed paths after six years, rekindled their love for one another, made love to one another for the first time and he had asked her to move in, which she had agreed to. That night had definitely been the start to something wonderful. He woke up every morning with Victoire, showering her face in kisses and 'I love you''s until she'd finally get up with a playful smack to his shoulder to make them breakfast. They'd walk, hand in hand to the Ministry of Magic. He remembered the first day well, Ron poked his head out of the office and shouted to them "It's about bloody time!" which cause the entire office to poke their heads out and look at the pair. Ted lost the bet, his entire family finding out in under two hours. He knew that everyone had found out when James had sent him a letter, pretty much saying why hadn't he told him and why did Ginny have to.
From then on they were like Siamese twins. They barely left one another's side, only when Ted would have to go out on a field mission, or Vic. Harry had been good to his word and gave Vic more opportunities besides just the office work. Of course, thankfully, Ted would go with her on some of those missions. He couldn't stand it if she gotten hurt, and he knew she felt the same way about him. Ted sighed gently, it was moments like this that he just wanted to hold her and kiss her senseless. When he realized she felt exactly the same and didn't want him to be hurt he'd always leave the office only thinking that he couldn't get hurt, he didn't want to see her crying over him any more.
As he wondered what Harry could of possibly done to keep Victoire preoccupied, he heard the front door open. He bit his lip in anticipation, and looked around the room. Yes, rose petals and tea light candles had been a reoccurring thing in their relationship the past month, but tonight he wasn't looking just for sex. More like her hand in marriage. He checked over the room once more. The bed was covered in rose petals, as was most the surface area in the room, besides the floor of course. Candles were the only light source in the room. On the center of the bed was a big box labeled 'To my love Victoire, From your Ted'. The big box contained a series of smaller boxes, getting all the way down to the velvet box. The ring wasn't there however, and a quick check to his pocket confirmed it was there. That's when he pop out, when she was looking for the ring. He pulled the invisibility cloak over his body, Ginny had stolen it from his husband, and pulled it tight, making sure he wouldn't be seen. As the door opened, he held his breathe from giving himself away. His hand slipped into his pocket, taking the ring and twirling it through his fingers. Here goes nothing. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 696 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: The Girl by City and Color. This heart, it beats, beats only for you My heart is yours - - - - - - - - Victoire's teasing question was answered by silence. Opening the bedroom door, she took one step in, keeping her hand on the handle. It took a moment for her eyes to adjust to the lighting. Vic's heart did a little leap, like it seemed to do when she came home to this. She took a few minutes to look around, seeing the small candles grouped together on the surrounding flat surfaces of their room. Their bed was covered with a solid blanket of rose petals. Ted was no where in sight. Little did Victoire know, he was hiding under the cloak. She only briefly glanced at the state of their room, missing the box on the bed. Instead, she turned, intending to find Ted.
Victoire searched the other rooms of their flat. While it wasn't big, it was comfortable enough for the two of them up until the point they started a family. That wouldn't be for a few years yet. So, this was just fine. Ted was nowhere to be found. With a small confused frown, Victoire returned to their bedroom. "Theodore Remus Lupin," she mumbled. "I'm not cleaning up all those pe - " Victoire stopped in mid sentence. Her eyes, which had been curiously scanning the room, found the item she had previously missed. A box. A large box was sitting on top of the blanket of petals. Weird, this was. Candles were flaming on, and Ted didn't seem to be around. What did he want to do, start a fire?
Turning her attention away from that, Vic cautiously approached the bed, with the box. Glancing around the room again, she paused before actually looking at it. A smile appeared upon reading the words written on the top - To my love Victoire, From your Ted. She tilted her head to the side, wondering what could be in a box that size. Eager to find out, she slipped of the ribbon and opened it to find another box neatly fit inside the other one. Okay... she thought, going for the next box. Here is were things turned a little ridiculous for a few seconds - under the second box, there was a third, fourth, fifth, and sixth. By the time Victoire had reached the fifth box, she was slightly annoying. "Oh, ha ha Ted, you're just so funny," she muttered, seemingly to herself. "If, in this box, there's another box. I'm going to kill you," she added, beginning to open the last box in the stack.
Victoire's heart lept finding that in the bottom of the sixth box, layed a small square-shaped black velvet box. This was the box she'd been waiting to see for what felt like eons. She had to close and reopen the box to make sure she wasn't dreaming. Victoire beamed, finding out that this was reality. She grabbed the box out of the other box, and slowly opened it. It was empty. Vic's fell almost immediately. Was this some kind of joke? No, there had to be more to this. Ted wouldn't toil with her feelings so cruelly. Was there another box? She looked, turning all the other boxes upside-down. Nope, nothing. She stood, staring at the empty velvet box in her hand, confusion was openly expressed in her facial expressions.

I don't know how you do what you do I'm so in love with you It just keeps getting better I want to spend the rest of my life With you by my side Forever and ever Every little thing that you do Baby, I'm amazed by you - - - - - - - - - - His eyes wandered over her as she entered the room, watching and observing each of her moves carefully. He seemed blinded for a moment due to the poor lighting in the room. She looked beautiful as always, and he couldn't help the smile pour onto his face as he watched her examine the room. She seemed to notice then rose petals on the bed and the candles and-- wait where was she going? She left the room and Ted grumbled, wondering if she realized what was going on left. He kept the cloak on and exited their bedroom, following her trying to figure out what in the world she was doing.
As she searched the flat Ted realized she was looking for him. He wanted her to go back to the bedroom, to notice the box on the bed and find the empty velvet box inside so he could get his nerves done and over with. He watched her from the bedroom entrance, searching the kitchen, living room and bathroom for him. Again, the urge to tell her to go look at the box arised, but he was silent. When she barged back into the bedroom, she nearly banged into him, it was only quicky footing that he had justed missed her by and inch. With a quiet sigh he turned and covered his mouth to keep from laughing at her comment. Oh Victoire, as much as she loved cleaning, cleaning up after his hopeless romantic were not his favorite tasks. Many a times he would be locked in the room, only allowed out once every rose petal had disappeared from view.
Ted leaned against the doorway as she turned her attention to the box, finally of course. He could see her face from where he was standing and smiled as she smiled, reading the note left on the box for her. He had to contain his chuckle again as she tilted her head adorably. As she opened each box, she would get so excited, then realize it was just another box and grumble. He couldn't believe how cute she was being, like a little child at Christmas when they weren't getting what they wanted. Not exactly the same situation, but the expressions were very simular. He held back his laugh for the third time as she talked to herself, and he noted she was on the very last box.
He had to hold his breath as she looked at the box, analysing the situation to figure out if she was ready for this. The excitement on her face was evident, and that boosted his confidence on the entire idea. As she beamed, he did as well, watching open the empty box. It tore him to see her frown like this, play with the box until she concluded that there was no ring in there at all. The confusion was evident now are her face and he bit his lip, closing his eyes, and praying to god her answer would be yes.
Ted slowly slipped off the cloak and placed it on the ground. He inhaled slowly, trying to calm his racing heart, but it seemed slightly useless at this point. "If you want what's in that box, all you have to do is answer one question." he said, stepping towards her now. She looked so beautiful tonight, he wondered what took him so bloody long to do this. He took a few steps forward, walking gracefully over to and took her hands in one of his hand while he took her ring in between his thumb and pointer finger. And just as gracefully, he lowered himself down on one knee, looking up at her.
"Victoire Weasley, I have loved you all my life, from the moment you came into my life we have been best friends and I have never cared for another human being more then I have you. Without you, my life is incomplete, and I have exprienced that life, which isn't a life at all. Victoire Weasley, I love you with all my heart, will you be my wife?" his eyes were locked on her face the entire time, his voice only cracking when he spoke of them being apart. His heart was coming out of his chest. Harry had told him the moment between popping this question and her response was the longest one he'd ever exprience, even if she answered right away. And he had to agree, in the second that passed it actually felt like ten minutes. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 726 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: Amazed by Lonestar COMMENTS?: I've never gotten this far with Ted, usually the Victoire leaves by the time they get back together xD

I have to speculate That God himself did make Us into corresponding shapes Like puzzle pieces from the day - - - - - - - - If this was suppose to be a joke, Victoire didn't think it was a very funny one. Over and over again she turned that velvet box upside-down, shook it a little, inspected every inch of it. No ring. She searched over all the other boxes and each one turned up empty. Victoire figured out what was going on. Ted was proposing, in his own way. It had to be it. Why would he torture her with empty boxes? An empty ring box? Harry's "accident" in his office wasn't an accident. It was all a set up, to give Ted time to set this up. Cruel but, his tactics had been effect. She went without suspicions the entire day, or rather the entire time Ted was planning this moment. Her heart fluttered, raced, pounded, skipped beats, and the brightest smile a person has ever seen was on her face the instant she figured it all out - like it was. This was it. The second of three days with Ted Victoire dreamed about almost nightly since she was sixteen.
Ted's appearance out of pretty much no where confirmed all her thoughts. Her eyes quickly glanced at the cloak that slid past his shoulders and to the floor. She'd been looking in his direction nearly the entire time. That cloak - it was the famous and fabled invisibility cloak of her Uncle's. When she was little, Harry used to play hide and seek with her. He'd use the cloak to hid, while she saught. He would pop out and scare her - which ended up in a fit of giggles about a short scream. Anyway, back to the present time.
Victoire's eyes shined as he stepped toward her. She was all prepared to say yes. Vic opened her mouth to do so but, then realized he didn't actually ask the question yet. She would have to hold onto her eagerness just a short while longer. Her blue eyes skipped around from Ted's eyes, and the ring sitting between his fingers, and back to his eyes. Vic nearly bounced with anticipation. She had to control herself and keep her feet firmly planted on the ground and Ted knelt down.
Seriously, how long does it take a guy to just say 'will you marry me'? Ted made this big, elaborate speech. OK it wasn't really that long but, if felt like hours. Every word he said, she heard and registered but, she was impatient to finally just say yes. She could barely contain herself from blurting it out before he could finish. "Yes," she breathed out. "Yes, a thousands times yes, Theodore Lupin I will." A small excited giggle escape her lips.

Darling so it goes Some things are meant to be Take my hand, take my whole life too For I cant help falling in love with you - - - - - - - - - - They way her eyes shone with happiness gave Ted the boost of confidence he had been needing all night. Today, after he had his talk with Harry, his mounds of confidence towards things seemed to disappear with the wind when he realized there was a chance she wasn't ready for this. She might say no, tell him to give her more time. She might think that he was only asking her to get Fleur off their backs, she'd been sending hints every chance she could get. But Ted was doing it because it was about bloody time they did. They were madly in love with each other since the moment they reunited. All he wanted was to call her his, officially of course. She was already his, she told him this often, but he wanted it to be written.
Ted watched her face the entire time he was making his speech, seeing the excitement in it as he spoke, as if she wanted for him to hurry up. As she repeatedly told his yes he felt the fear in his heart wash away and the biggest smile he had ever produced was plastered onto his face. He didn't even bother to ask her really like he usually would and took her left hand in his and slipped on the ring on her ring finger. He placed a kiss softly on her knuckle before standing up. His arms instantly wrapped around her and kissed her fiercely, even picking her up and spinning her around once before returning her to the ground, continuing their kiss. This was it, that ring symbolized their bond from now till the day they died.
And right away a million things flew through his head. Victoire in a white dress walking down an isle to meet him, Vic in Rome, where he was planning on taking her for their honeymoon, His hands wrapped around her, resting on her plump stomach, bursting with pregnancy, the two of them on platform 3/4 sending their first kid off to Hogwarts. There were other images, but they followed the same pattern. Ted was a little frightened, was that suppose to happen when the girl of your dreams accepts your marriage proposal? But at the same time, he was excited, excited to see each of those thing unfold in front of them their marriage, honeymoon, when Vic got pregnant, seeing their kid go off to Hogwarts. He couldn't try and wipe the smile from his face if he could. She literally just made him the most happy man in the world.
After a long kiss, Ted pulled his mouth off of hers, grinning like some kinda moron. "I love you so much Vic, you don't understand how happy I am to call you my fiancee." he sighed at the last part, calling her his and fiancee two things he was certainly waiting for awhile now. His hands intertwined with hers, feeling the coolness of the ring on her finger sent cold and happy shivers down his spine. He looked down at the ring and then back up to her. "Did you even get a chance to look at it or were you too busy trying to hold yourself still until I actually asked you to marry me to say yes?" he chuckled, the backs of her hands being massaged by his thumbs. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 572 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: Can't Help Falling in Love by none other then Elvis. However far away I will always love you However long I stay I will always love you Whatever words I say I will always love you - - - - - - - - Victoire didn't even really get the chance to look at her ring. Her eyes were too flooded with happy tears. She let a giggle in the middle of their kiss, feeling Ted pick her up, spin around, and put her back down. So, that was it. They were now offically engaged, binded together forever. Victoire felt like that before tonight, and she was pretty sure Ted did too. This was just a way to make it known to the world, to their family that Theodore Remus Lupin and Victoire Gabrielle Weasley were made for each other.
Suddenly, Fleur's crazy wedding plans didn't seem so crazy. There wasn't much left they would have to do. Victoire just had to get control over her mother, get the right flowers, bridesmaid dresses, and her own dress. Plus, her and Ted had to write their vows. The time, place, and everything else was already take care of. Simple, easy, and care-free. Their plan to overthrow Fleur's plans seemed ridiculous. Victoire just had to make sure she didn't look like a snowball, everything else she could just let go. The importance of that day was becoming Mrs. Theodore Lupin. That name had a nice ring to it.
Vic's thoughts led her to momentarily forget about the ring of metal and precious stones on her finger. It was only until Ted mentioned it that she remembered. "Oh," she said with a small laugh at herself. Victoire looked at their intertwined hands, specifically on her ring finger. She didn't meticulously inspect the ring but, she watched the candle light bounce off the diamonds. "It's beautiful, Ted. I love it. I love you" she said, letting out her own happy sigh. "I was to busy holding onto myself. I thought it took forever for you to just ask," she explained. This was another beginning for them, the beginning of the rest of their lives together.

Baby tonight is your night And I will do you right Just make a wish on your night Anything that you ask I will give you the love of your life - - - - - - - - - - Ted chuckles as they broke apart, laughing at her giggle as he spun her around. His hand went to her face wiping the tears away, knowing they were tears of happiness instead of fear or sadness. He had been wrong about one thing, she had been waiting for this moment just as much as he would. She wanted to be Mrs. Theodore Lupin just as much as he wanted her to be. Of course, they were pretty much engaged before this night, but now it was official. He, Ted Lupin, was going to marry, Victoire Gabrielle Weasley, and it was finally official. No more worry of running off on each other, no, they were bonding now, bonding for life.
Harry had told him earlier today that once he was married for a year or so, he would miss his bachelor days. His bachelor days consist of missing Victoire, maybe trying to kiss a girl to try and get over Victoire, but be completely disgusted by it afterwords, and sulking across the country, hoping to Merlin that there was no one else in their lives that would destroy that bond. Frankly, there was no bachelor years for Ted Lupin. His world has revolved around Vic since that moment when Harry took Ted to see his new 'cousins' and Vic and him held hands. Both of them had heard the story a million times, the way Ted had looked at the new born that day was astonishing to all. There was one fairy tale Theodore Lupin believed in, and it was love at first sight. Yes, he may have only be a thirteen month child at the time, but it was obvious to anyone who knew them as they grew up. When they would cross the brook by the Burrow, Ted was always watching Vic, making sure she wouldn't fall and hurt herself, and when she did, he would carry her all the way back to the Burrow to get Molly to fix her up. No one had seen a love like his and Vic's and frankly, it was the best kind of love in Ted's opinion. He was only lucky enough to find it.
Ted smiled as she finally looked at her ring, watching as the the diamond shimmered in the light of the candles. "I'm glad you like it, my beautiful Victoire Gabrielle Weasley-soon-to-be-Lupin." he chuckled, lowering his head as she sighed and planted a small but loving kiss on her lips. As she told him it took forever for him to ask, he blushed slightly. "Sorry about that love... I got a bit nervous and began to ramble. But you answer told me that there truly was no reason to be nervous at all." he laughed, his arms wrapped around her waist again pulling her in for a deeper kiss. Everything about tonight was so perfect, he couldn't have asked for it to be any more perfect, her in his arms, candle light surrounding them and the diamond ring that was planted on her finger told him that this was just another milestone in their life for them. Eventually he pulled away, resting his forehead against hers and smiling down at her. "So what's more likely a reaction from our family, 'This is too soon!' or 'About time you two got hitched'?" he chuckled breathlessly. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 564 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: I'll Make Love to You by Boys II Men COMMENTS?: ---

- - - - - - - - Victoire couldn't believe it. She was engaged to Ted Lupin. A month ago she thought it would never happen, that it was just a dream. The probability of it actually happening was not in her favor. Now, she was the happiest creature on Earth. She had herself back, Ted back, everything she wanted was right here in the room. She just wanted him more that anything. And, Vic had him. It just all seemed surreal and sometimes at night, she had to pinch herself to make sure this was all still real and not just some lengthy hallucination.
Victoire shook her head. "I don't like it, I love it," she corrected him. It was nearly the same thing she would have picked out of herself. Simple but, elegant. It was just her style. Not too small but, not too big. Simple stone cut and setting and yet it was the most beautiful thing ever. Vic perked her head to the side. "Nervous? Why, did you think I'd say no?" Ted could have asked her to marry him a month ago, when they reunited, and she wouldn't have hesitated to say yes. Victoire closed her eyes during Ted's kiss, entangling her fingers in his hair - a favorite thing she like to do, as Ted never seemed to mind.
Victoire giggled and had to regain her thoughts before she could talk. Every time Ted kissed her, her thoughts would scatter, her heart would skip, and her breath would leave her lungs like she had forgotten to breath. "Oh, I'm sure they will all say it's about time....because they are right, it is." she said.

- - - - - - - - - - Ted smiled as she corrected him, saying that she loved the ring he had given her. As he looked down at it again, it truly was the perfect ring for her. It was classy, it was elegant, it was simple and Ginny was right, it looked perfect on her hand. A single phase was replaying his head. He was engaged to Victoire Weasley. And no matter how many times he said it, it still sounded just as great as it did the first time. He couldn't wait to tell everyone. He had a feeling that most people would act as no surprise to them that they were. He and Vic had acted like a married couple every time they were in public, especially after she moved in.
He looked down ashamed to admit that he did indeed think she could say no. "Well... yeah. I was fine until today, then all the 'what if's hit and I got nervous." he sighed looking back up at her face and pull her hair out of it. "I know your going to say it was foolish to think that, but it's not every day a guy asks the love of his life to marry him." he chuckled, "And frankly, I don't see you down on your knee asking me to marry you." he laughed, trying to ease the mood. He let out a gently sighing, kissing her as her fingers locked in his hair, just like they always should.
As she giggled a smile swept across his face. Every time they'd kiss, he would get a little flustered, she was usually the one to bring him back. He frowned slightly as she mentioned it was about time. "Sorry it took me so long love, I just didn't want you to feel like we were rushing anything." he said, sighing gently against her forehead. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 316 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: --- COMMENTS?: ---

- - - - - - - - Victoire caressed Ted's cheek briefly when looked down. "The 'what if's', huh?" she repeated with a raised brow. "You are right, I wasn't about to ask you but, I waiting. I was prepared to drop hints pretty soon," she added, with a giggle. She most likely would have dropped hints here and there if things had gone far enough along. Luckily, Ted just asked her so, all the distress was removed. It wouldn't have mattered when Ted proposed, her answer would have been the same anyway. It would have been a matter of getting him to ask her.
Were they rushing? Sure, anyone on the outside who didn't know would say so. Her family, their family on the other hand, knew this love story since it began. To them it was more of a 'it's about time' thing than rushing. Victoire didn't care about the rushing part. Sure, they are but, she waited six years to see him again. Trying to block him out had been impossible. Now, she had six years and beyond to be with him. "Better now than never,"[/colo] she said, sliding her arms up his, hooking around his neck. "So, what do we do first as an engaged couple?" Vic grinned being able to use the term 'engaged couple'.

- - - - - - - - - - Ted chuckled alongside her giggle, smiling as she caressed his cheek. She knew exactly what to do to calm him down. His hand moved up to meet hers and he kissed her hand gently before dropping both their intertwined hands to the sides, moving to rest his forehead on hers. His Grey eyes locked onto her blue ones, the most enchanting feature of her. Of course he could name a few hundred other things he loved about her, but her eyes were close up there on the top. He still could pull the grin off of his face. Fiancee... finally mine forever.
As her arms wrapped around his neck, his went straight for her waist, pulling her close to his chest while his smile soften. It was moments like these that he wished would last forever, holding her in his arms. Then again, he was now looking forward to a day in the future, involving him most likely in a tux and her in a white dress. As she asked him what they would do first as a engaged couple a few ideas came to mind. "Well. We could go straight into planning before your mother goes insane on us, or if your hungry, we could go down the street to that romantic Italian place. Or.." he began, tracing a finger lazily up her back. ".. if your hungry for something else, I could perhaps feed that hunger." he smiled and moved his lips down to her neck, planting small, open mouth kisses on her neck. He couldn't lie, after Vic was ready for him again, they did it nearly ever night. He was wondering why he stopped himself from her when he was a horny seventeen year old boy, getting almost to it every time but never going the entire way. But frankly, there was now another thing he couldn't get enough of her. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 318 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: --- COMMENTS?: ---

- - - - - - - - This was Victoire's favorite part of the day - being this close to Ted. Whether it was laying in bed, cuddling on the davenport - she was happy. Her day was a million times better with Ted in it. The ring that now would sit permanently on her finger was just a bonus. A small content sigh escaped her lips. Victoire was just so utterly happy, she couldn't believe it. No matter how many times she repeated in her head that she was engaged to Ted, it just didn't seem real. It is real. They are, and now she kenw for sure this time that they'd be together now and forever.
For a short time, Vic forgot about her mother. Great, she was going to freak out if she didn't already know. She was going to ask Ted if he talked to her dad but, his third list of choices caught her attention. She giggled girlishly at Ted's suggestiveness. Victoire found there were certains things he did that made her unable to resist him. She had no idea how in the past, they could go so far and they managed to stop, being the two horny teenagers. Better late than never. Only now, they seemed that they couldn't get enough of each other. A full moon was nearing, and she wondered how that would affect things. That thought was completely disrupted by the small kiss traveling on her neck.
Hm, food or this? Both were equally as good, though sex overruled food. It was definitely way better. They could always ravage through the refridgerator later. She giggled thimking about it, standing in front of the refridgerator, wrapped in a sheet... Ted's neck kisses where not helping her decision, just making it more difficult. Naw, tonight she was going to mess with him. He always teased her and it was time for a little payback. Victoire had a major advantage on her side. Ted wasn't completely immune to her Veela charm, unlike the rest of the family...at least her father and Uncle Harry, and the girls. It didn't affect all people, just most. Ted was one of those mosts. Just for the fun of it, Victoire was sort of going to mess with him for awhile - see how far he'd let things go before just leaping on her.
Victoire breathed unevenly against Ted's neck. A few small giggles escaped her lips. "Hmm....italian or a werewolf-metamorphagus....I don't know what sounds better," she said against his neck. Vic planted a few of her own small, butterfly like kisses against Ted's jawline. She pushed him back, just a little, enough so she could kiss him properly. Only, she kissed him agressively, passionately, full of heat.

- - - - - - - - - - Ted smiled down at his fiancee as she sighed contently. She seemed to feel the same way, as if this whole thing was so unrealistic. At the same time it was, realizing that his soon-to-be-mother-in-law was going to go crazy when she found out her husband hadn't told her about their daughter's engagement and how she'd probably return to her long lost wedding plans. He wasn't unaware of them when he and Vic began going out, Fleur liked to pull them out behind Vic's back. She had even given Ted idea's on the ring to buy her, but they were all so flashing and big, not something Vic would like to wear on her hand all day. Sure, he had gone for the flashy one at first, but Ginny had reminded him, and he knew his ring was the best after all. He would have to agree, the ring on her finger at that moment was perfect for her.
Ted chuckled alongside her giggle, enjoying the sound of their two laughs together as he always did. It sounded just like perfect bells. harmonizing one another. Just the simplest things about the two of him made him smile, like when they were cuddled on the couch, when she would shuffle slightly he would automatically shuffle with her, fitting against one another like two pieces of a puzzle. Or how they moved in sync with one another when working in the kitchen. It was kind of eerie the first time they did it, since it was the first time they had cook together, but it lost its eeriness after a few times, and when Ted would have to recruit her to stirring the sauce. She still wasn't the best cook, but he loved her all the same. Besides, who said the women had to be the chef of the family? Hadn't they gotten passed that era?
It was true, the full moon was fast approaching. Within two nights it would be at it's fullest, so of course Ted would be acting up a bit. But it wasn't constant anger or aggression. Sometimes it was, and his friends back at school just told people he was PFMSing, Pre Full Moon Syndrome. During different times he would act normal, others he would be ready to flip out at someone at any minute, and other times he'd be completely annoying. But since Vic's return, there has only been one full moon, and it was full of pure loving for one another, and aggressiveness. She had oddly seemed to enjoy it, and he was sure she was trying to rekindle that. He would glad reciprocate that loving.
Ted moaned happily as she planted small butterfly kisses along his neck, leans his head back and smiling as she continued her journey across his jaw-line. "Well.. I hear Italian's over-rated and besides that, there will be enough Italian food on our honey-moon to last us a lifetime." he chuckled, leaning his head back only to find her lips awaiting his, attacking him with a fiery passion. His hands moved across her curves and stomach to her hips, making them sway gently as his lips attacked her, soon throwing his tongue into the action, pushing through her lips and into her mouth, tasting her sweet taste she always seemed to have when they were kissing. - - - - - - - - - - WORDS?: 578 TAGS?: Victorie LYRICS?: --- COMMENTS?: >3 Bring it on.
