Penny Matthews | 6th Year | Ravenclaw | Chaser (center) | 6years flying, 5years competitive | Why you should be captain : I think I would make a good team captain, because I am level headed and fair minded. I dont have favourites and am not afraid to put my foot down when my players are getting out of hand.

I'm a thinker and a keen strategiser, though I'm also willing to take on board other ideas and will listen to the views of the other players, even if their views contradict my own. As a Chaser I have team player qualities engraned anyway, though I dont always need my teammates around me for support, I have enough nerve to take chances and go out alone if the situation requires.

I feel I would be a good asset to the team and really think Ravenclaw are in with a shot for the cup this year.


[Scorpius Malfoy]

Scorpius Malfoy | 6th year | Slytherin | Keeper | When it comes to being a captain, you're not going to find anyone better.  In most situations, I keep an even-temper and remain calm even in complete chaos. Honestly, my house respects me, and as a captain, respect is key.  

Strategy comes easily to me, and my knowledge of stealth will help our team to do the unexpected. Of course, I couldn't forget to mention my intelligence. I can tell who's good at what position, where they need to be for us to score, and I can keep an eye on the other team at the same time. Without smarts, I'd never have made it this far as a keeper. You have to be quick-thinking with lightning reflexes, and I've got both of those qualities which could only enhance my effectiveness as captain.

Besides those reasons, I'm a natural-born leader. I know how to motivate people and get their head in the game. Plus, I'll do what's best for the team, even if it means one that my friend sits in the bleachers and watches while an enemy who is better at Quidditch is out on the field. With me as captain, our team will be under good rule.

[Chasity Atherton]

Chasity Atherton | 6th Year | Slytherin | Chaser | 5 Years | Chasity is a very competitive person, and she will do anything to ensure her team a win. Whether that means arranging for a fellow Slytherin to throw a well timed hex at the opposing Seeker or Keeper, or keeping her team on the pitch for an extended practice session, like it or not. She's also fair minded when it comes to picking the team. She'll pick the best players, regardless of her personal feelings toward them, even if that means angering a friend or choosing a much hated rival. She may not be nice to them off the pitch, but on the pitch it's nothing but business. She's very intelligent and has a logical mind that is capable of working out the kinks of the team, and how to encourage in such a way to ensure loyalty and maximum skill.

Hugo Weasley | 6th | Gryffindor | Seeker | 5 Years | I think that I would make a great captain because I have the leadership skills, intelligence, and determination to lead our team to victory. I have plenty of experience as a Seeker, but I can also fly in many of the other positions, so I can really put myself in my teammates' places, and give them the encouragement to succeed. I have a knack for picking up weaknesses in opposing teams, and that makes it easier for me to instruct my teammates. I have a great love of Quidditch and my love for the game makes me a great asset.
